Generate random times of day

Random times within a window — working hours, overnight, anything — one at a time or in bulk, with a seed for repeatability.

How this is worked out

Each value is a whole minute, so the seconds are always zero.
Each time is paired with a random date from the range, and the list is sorted from earliest to latest.
Up to 500 values can be generated at once. Tick 'weekdays only' to leave out Saturdays and Sundays.

Can I keep the times inside working hours?

Yes — set the window. Random times spread evenly across 24 hours look nothing like real user activity, which is usually why the data being generated is unrealistic.

Can the latest time itself come up?

No. Times are drawn from the earliest time up to, but not including, the latest. With the default 09:00 to 17:00 window, the last possible value is 16:59. Move the latest time on by a minute if you need the end included.

Why do I get the same list every time?

A blank seed uses a fixed default, so the list stays the same until you change a setting. Type any word or number as the seed for a fresh set.
